August 20th 2020 & Email Accounts. Firstly Telstra’s BigPond mail service wasn’t working at all for loads of users. Before I had time to smirk about the quality of Telstra’s email I had a report of weird problems with someone’s Gmail account.
Having a backup email account in case your main email isn’t working is just sensible. My advice is stop using your Internet Service Provider’s email and create a Gmail and an Outlook account.
Alternatively check out the possibility of registering your own domain name and then you can move service providers with your email address following you. Ask me if you are interested in this – I can help you with setting up your new email accounts.
